Personal bio:  I got my medical degree early in 2013 and moved to the US a couple of months later to do pursue my graduate studies in neuroscience before going to residency. After joining the VCU neuroscience program, I quickly realized I’m interested in neuropharmacology, cell signaling, and electrophysiology. I joined the lab of Dr. Diomedes Logothetis where I learned how to utilize electrophysiological techniques to study G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). In my free time, I enjoy working out, hiking, and finding new bars/restaurants with live music.
